Debra Sayles Senchak has worked as a professional performer and dance instructor for over twenty-five years. Noted for her versatility as a principal dancer with the New Jersey Ballet Company, she has performed extensively throughout the world and with several touring groups. In 1996 she collaborated with Lori Christman in founding the Infinity Ballet Company and has been instrumental in developing performing groups to present educational projects involving various aspects of the Performing Arts. She has been responsible for the production and management of these performances and their tours.
The Conservatory of Classical Dance (under the direction of Professor Peggy Willis Aarnio) in cooperation with Texas Tech University presented Ms. Sayles with certificates of formal training in the Teaching Method of Classical Dance (developed by V.S. Kostrovitskaya, student of Agrippina Vaganova in St. Petersburg, Russia).
Debra Sayles began her dance studies with Cecchetti training under Margaret Dallman and later at the Washington School of Ballet under Mary Day. She continue with advanced training at American Ballet Theater School, David Howard School in New York and New Jersey Ballet School where she joined the faculty and became a Principal Dancer of the New Jersey Ballet Company.
Her goal is to create a sanctuary for the arts where like-minded spirits can enjoin publicly to uplift culture through the universal language of movement and dance. Ms Sayles has developed her leadership as an educator in the use of the Fine Art of Classical Dance Training for developing performers and competitive athletes.
